同济大学2018年“孔子学院奖学金”招生简章
Confucius Institute Scholarship Program (2018) of Tongji University
为培养合格的汉语教师，促进中华文化传播，孔子学院总部/国家汉办（简称汉办）设立奖学金，委托海外孔子学院（独立设置的课堂），部分汉语考试考点（统称推荐机构）推荐优秀学生、学者和汉语教师到中国大学（统称接收院校）学习。
For the purpose of cultivating qualified Chinese language teachers and facilitating the promotion of Chinese language and culture, the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) launches “Confucius Institute Scholarship” (CIS) to support outstanding students, scholars and currently employed Chinese language teachers recommended by Confucius Institutes, independently operated Confucius Classrooms as well as some HSK test centers (hereinafter to be collectively referred to as “recommending institutions”) to study in Chinese universities and colleges (hereinafter referred to as “host institutions”).

- 申请条件
Ⅰ. Category & Eligibility
招生对象为非中国籍人士，身心健康，品学兼优，有志于从事汉语教育、教学及汉语国际推广相关工作，年龄16-35周岁（统一以2018年9月1日计）。在职汉语教师放宽至45周岁。
All applicants shall be non-Chinese citizens, in good Physical and mental condition, well performed both academically and behaviorally, aspired to take future careers on the teaching or international promotion of Chinese language, between the ages of 16-35 on September 1st, 2018. Applicants currently worked as Chinese language teachers shall not exceed the age limit of 45.
- 汉语国际教育专业硕士 2018年9月入学，资助期限为2年。
Scholarship for Master’s Degree Students in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (MTCSOL). This scholarship commences September 2018 and provides scholarship for maximum two academic years.
具有大学本科学历。汉语考试成绩达到HSK（五级）210分、HSKK（中级）60分。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议或相关证明者优先。
Applicants shall be Bachelor degree holders, and have a minimum score of 210 in HSK Test (Level 5) as well as 60 in HSKK test (Intermediate Level). Applicants for full scholarship should have a minimum score of 210 in HSK Test (Level 5). All the applicants should pass HSKK Test (Intermediate Level). Applicants who are able to provide notarized document of the employment agreement or related proofs upon completing study in China are preferred.
- 一学年研修生 2018年9月入学，资助期为11个月，不录取在华留学生。
Scholarship for One-Academic-Year Study Students. This scholarship commences September 2018, and provides scholarship for maximum 11 months. International students currently studying in China are not eligible.
汉语国际教育方向（TCSOL）
汉语考试成绩达到HSK（三级）270分，具有HSKK成绩。
Applicants shall have a minimum score of 270 in HSK test (Level 3), while HSKK test score required.
汉语言文学方向 (Chinese Language & Literature)
汉语考试成绩达到HSK（四级）180分、HSKK（中级）60分。
Applicants shall have a minimum score of 180 in HSK test (Level 4) and 60 in HSKK test (intermediate level).
汉语研修方向（Chinese Language Study）
汉语考试成绩达到HSK（三级）180分。
Applicants shall have a minimum score of 180 in HSK test (Level 3 level).
- 一学期研修生 2018年9月、2019年3月入学，资助期限为5个月。不录取护照上有X1、X2签证者。
Scholarship for One-Semester Study Students. This scholarship commences either in September 2018 or March 2019, and provides scholarship of maximum 5 months. Applicants withholding visas X1 or X2 are not eligible.
汉语言方向和汉语国际教育方向 (Chinese Language and Literature & TCSOL)
申请者HSK成绩应达到三级210分，具有HSKK成绩。
Applicants shall have a minimum score of 210 in HSK test (Level 3), while HSKK test score required.
- 资助内容及标准
- Scholarship Coverage and Standard
孔子学院奖学金资助内容包括：学费、住宿费、生活费和综合医疗保险费。
The Confucius Institute Scholarship provides full coverage on tuition fee, accommodation fee, living allowance and comprehensive medical insurance expenses.
学费由接收院校统筹用于奖学金生的培养与管理，开展文化活动，组织参加汉语考试。学费不包含教材费和旅游景点门票。
Tuition fee is under the overall planning and utilization of host institutions to provide teaching and management of scholarship students organizing cultural and social activities, as well as organizing Chinese language proficiency tests. Tuition fee does not cover the textbook expenses and tourist tickets.
生活费由接收院校按月发放。本科生、一学年和一学期研修生标准为2500元人民币/月；汉语国际教育专业硕士生为3000元人民币/月。
Living allowance is granted by host institutions on a monthly basis. The monthly allowance for undergraduates, one-academic-year study students and one-semester students is 2,500 CNY per person. For MTCSOL student, the monthly allowance is 3,000 CNY per person.
奖学金生按接收院校录取通知书规定的时间入学报到，否则取消奖学金资格。当月15日（含15日）前到校注册者，当月发放全额生活费；15日以后注册者，当月发放半月生活费。
Students are required to complete enrollment procedures for every semester within stipulated period; otherwise, their scholarship may be cancelled. Students who are enrolled before the 15th (or on the 15th) of the month are entitled to the full allowance of that month while those enrolled after the 15th of that month are only entitled to half of the amount.
奖学金生在学期间（不含寒暑假）因个人原因离开中国时间超过15天者，停发离华期间生活费。
During the study period, for any student who is absent from China due to personal reasons for more than 15 days (excluding winter and summer holidays), the allowance during absence will be suspended.
奖学金生因个人原因休学、退学或受接收院校纪律处分者，停发自休学、退学或接到处分通知之日起的生活费。
For students who suspend study or drop out of school for personal reasons, or who are given disciplinary punishment by the host institutions, allowance will be terminated on the date of such suspension, dropping out or when the decision of such punishment is announced.
毕（结）业生的生活费发放至学校确定的毕（结）业日期后的半个月。
The living allowance for the month of graduation will be granted half a month after the date of graduation or expiration day of the study confirmed by host institutions.
综合医疗保险费参照中国教育部来华留学有关规定执行，由接收院校统一购买。一学期研修生为400元人民币/人，一学年以上标准为800元人民币/年/人。
Comprehensive medical insurance is purchased by the host institutions in accordance with relevant regulations of studying in China stipulated by the Ministry of Education of China. Insurance fee per person is 400 CNY for one-semester students, and 800 CNY per year for students engaged in program longer than one academic year.
同济大学为奖学金生提供的校内宿舍为双人间。无需个人单独申请，无需额外付费。
Tongji University provides free accommodation in dormitory on campus (double room). Applicants do not need to apply by themselves or pay extra fee.

- Admission Procedure
1、登录孔子学院奖学金网站（cis.chinese.cn），查询推荐机构与接收院校，在线填写、提交《孔子学院奖学金申请表》并附上有关证明材料的电子扫描件；
- Applicant can log on to the Confucius Institute Scholarship website (http://cis.chinese.cn) to look for Recommending Institutions and Host Institutions, to complete and submit the Confucius Institute Scholarship Application Form on line, and upload scanned copies of relevant supporting documents.

2、推荐机构、同济大学、国家汉办逐级审核申请材料。同济大学择优进行预录取，国家汉办最终择优决定授予全额奖学金或部分奖学金。申请者课在线查看申请进程、审核意见与奖学金评审结果。
- Recommending Institutions, Tongji University and Hanban will verify application materials on line and select outstanding applicants. Hanban will grant full or partial scholarship to successful applicants. Applicant can check the application process, materials review and admission results on line.
3、同济大学与获奖者联系，确认留学意向后，将《录取通知书》、《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202表）等入学材料寄送至推荐机构。获奖者可在线打印获奖证书。
- After confirming with the successful applicants, Tongji University will post Letter of Admission, Visa Application Form for Foreigners to Study in China (JW202 Form) and other relevant documents to Recommending Institutions. The scholarship applicants could print their scholarship certificate online.

所有申请者必须同时登陆同济大学国际学生在线服务系统（http://study-info.tongji.edu.cn），在线填写、提交《同济大学留学生入学申请表》并附上有关证明材料的电子扫描件。（不需要缴纳报名费）
All applicants should also log onto website of Tongji University（http://study-info.tongji.edu.cn）, fill out the “Application Form for International Students of Tongji University”, and attach the electronic files of the following materials. (No need to pay registration fee online.)
汉语国际教育硕士申请者:
必须邮寄如下材料至同济大学孔子学院办公室。(一学年、一学期汉语研修生不需要)
MTCSOL applicants must express the following materials to Liaison Office of Confucius Institutes, Tongji University. (not for one academic year or one semester applicants)
- 申请者个人普通护照复印件（个人信息页）；
A scanned copy of the passport photo page;
- 毕业证书及学位证书复印件。中英文以外文本的证书需提供中文或英文翻译件的公证件原件；
The degree certificate. If the certificate is not in Chinese or English, the original notarized translated versions must be submitted.
注： 文件公证件需由中国驻外使领馆或外国驻华使领馆提供；
* The certificate should be notarized by local Chinese Embassy or local Chinese Consulates (or foreign embassies or consulates in China).
应届毕业生由本人所在学校出具预计毕业证明原件，如录取，需在报到时补交毕业证书文件。
Certificate of expected graduation issued by education in current academic institution (for applicants who will be graduating in the same year only). Degree certificate is required to be verified and notarized documents must be submitted at the registration.
- 本科阶段全部课程成绩单原件或公证件。中英文以外文本的成绩单需提供中文或英文翻译件的公证件原件；
Original or notarized academic transcripts. If the academic transcripts are not in Chinese or English, the original notarized translated document must be submitted.
注： 文件公证件需由中国驻外使领馆或外国驻华使领馆提供；
* The transcript should be notarized by local Chinese Embassy or local Chinese Consulates (or foreign embassies or consulates in China).
- 两位副教授或相应职称以上的学者的推荐信原件（需写明推荐人的联系方式）；
Recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors, in Chinese or English (signature and contact information are necessary, sealed in envelop).
- 个人陈述。1000字左右，用中文撰写。内容应包括个人学习、工作经历，学术研究成果，硕士阶段的研究计划，毕业后的个人发展目标等；
Personal statement. Around 1000 words in Chinese. Study and work experience, academic research achievement, planned research proposal should be included, and individual development objective after graduation.
- 发表过的论文目录、摘要，或者其它能够证明自己研究能力的材料；
Catalogue and abstract of published papers, and other documents that can prove academic ability.
- 经公证的毕业拟任教机构工作协议者(优先资助)。
Applicant who is able to provide notarized employment agreement upon graduation has priority of admission.
六、注意事项
- More Details
- 汉语国际教育硕士申请者必须于2018年5月31日前将以上所有材料纸质版快递至同济大学孔子学院办公室，否则不予录取。无论录取与否，以上申请材料一律不予退还。
Please express all the above application materials required to room 103, international school of Tongji University（for the MTCSOL Scholarship applicants only），or you cannot be admitted. Application documents will not be returned. The deadline is May 31th，2018.
- 申请材料不完整或不符合招生条件的，概不受理。
Incomplete or unqualified applications will not be processed.
- 申请材料弄虚作假，或非本人填写提交的，一经查实，申请资格将被取消。
Applicants will be disqualified from application in case of fraudulent application materials or application materials are completed and submitted by someone else.
- 奖学金生按学校每学期规定报到日期到学校注册学籍，否则取消奖学金资格。
Scholarship will be canceled for those who cannot register with the host institutions on time as required.
- 入学体检不合格，或中途退学、休学者，奖学金资格将被取消。
Scholarship will be canceled for those who do not pass the admission physical examination, drop out, or take schooling suspension during the study.
